About Us

Saunders contracting began in 1991 with the purchase of a New Holland 851 round baler. Fertilizer spreading came in 1994, then a slurry tanker and the first fine chop baler in the district. 1995 saw the arrival of my wife Carolina.
By 1996 there were 3 balers and a wrapper.
1998 we went farming for 3 years.
In 2000 the purchase of the Simpson property meant we finally had a proper depot
2002 saw the purchase of a Strautman loader wagon for bulk silage.
A secondhand Claas Jaguar self propelled 860 forage harvester was added in 2005 and was followed by a new 870 in 2006.
2010 SlurryKat was added as both a machine for use to contract with, and as the Australian Distributor.
